My favourite books and films
Books
My reading tastes are very varied: novels, plays, science fiction... One of the novels that recently made an impression on me is “La chambre des officiers” (The Officers' Ward) by Marc Dugain. In this novel, we discover the character “Adrien Fournier,” a young military engineer lieutenant who was disfigured by shrapnel. I also really liked a book written by George Orwell: Animal Farm. Animal Farm is a satirical novella. The Persians is a play written by an ancient Greek playwright, Aeschylus. Before reading it, I didn't think I would like plays. Before reading “Planet of the Apes,” I watched the movie. I was surprised when I read the novel written by Pierre Boulle. I found interesting details that I hadn't seen in the movie. Films
Here are some of my favorite movies: Kung Fu Panda is a movie that marked my childhood. The comedy and the story of this panda trying to defend his village inspired me a lot. I also like French comedies such as “Les visiteurs” and “3 Freres.” “Les Visiteurs” tells the story of a knight and his servant in the Middle Ages who, following a wizard's mistake, are teleported to the modern era. They go on to have a series of adventures in a world they don't understand. In “3 Frères,” we discover a brotherhood that is in debt due to an administrative error. “Interstellar” is a more serious film that follows a pilot on a mission. The goal of this mission is to save humanity. (For more, click on the posters)
